Join us for a one-of-a-kind adventure as we explore Langjökull Glacier on our glacier tour departing from Húsafell. This once-in-a-lifetime experience will lead you to the untouched beauty and raw nature of Langjökull, Iceland’s second-largest glacier. Covering 953 square kilometers, the glacier boasts one of the world's largest man-made ice tunnels. Our journey begins with a ride in our modified glacier vehicles, specially equipped to handle the icy terrain. As we ascend the white slopes, you will enjoy the panoramic views of the ice cap, a testament to nature's grandeur.
Upon reaching the heart of the glacier, we will delve into the ice tunnels, where crampons will be provided for a safe walk on the icy surfaces. The tunnels are illuminated by natural light, revealing intricate ice formations and shades of blue that are simply mesmerizing. Our experienced guides will share fascinating insights about the glacier’s history and its geological features, making sure each participant has a memorable experience. This tour is designed for adventure seekers, nature lovers, and families looking for a unique, family-friendly experience.
