What to Expect

Experience the Midnight Sun with us on our kayak tour from Tromsø. From the end of May to the end of July, the sun above the Arctic Circle never sets, giving us a unique opportunity to paddle under the 24-hour daylight. As you glide silently through the waters, you will be in harmony with the rich bird and wildlife these waters offer. Keep an eye out for seals, otters, and the majestic sea eagles, while the occasional curious porpoise whales might make an appearance around your kayak.

Your journey begins on the sandy white beaches of Tromsø, where you will receive a brief introduction to kayaking and safety procedures. Once on the water, you will be surrounded by clear waters and towering 1800-foot peaks that stretch up from behind, creating a magical and fulfilling scenery. The midnight sun bathes everything in a warm glow, revealing nature's best side, making this an unforgettable experience.

• We paddle sturdy double kayaks, but you may paddle singles on request if you can document sufficient kayaking skills

• Please note that this activity requires a minimum of 2 participants to take place. If this number is not reached, we will contact you to reschedule the activity or give you a refund

• Please note that the tour is weather dependent and may have to be rescheduled or cancelled due to safety reasons. You will receive a full refund if you're not able to join a rescheduled tour.

• If you choose the transfer option you will be driven to the starting point of the activity by minivan.
