What to Expect

Embark with us on a RIB boat trip from Reykjavík that allows us to get very close to the local fauna, especially the magnificent whales of Faxaflói Bay. As we glide across the waters, it’s a fast, thrilling ride that promises an exhilarating experience. Our expert and experienced guide will provide fascinating insights about the animals and the bay, making this journey not only adventurous but also educational.

During the summer months, from May to August, we make a special stop at the puffin island Akurey. Here, you can marvel at the vibrant puffins in their natural habitat, a sight that is both captivating and heartwarming. On the way back to the harbor, we take a scenic route along the coast of Reykjavík, offering you breathtaking views of the city and its picturesque surroundings.

Our RIB boat is designed for comfort and speed, ensuring a smooth and exciting ride. With seating arrangements that allow for perfect views, you can be sure not to miss any of the action. This tour is ideal for those seeking an adventure that combines nature, speed, and stunning landscapes.

We meet at our ticket office, 30 minutes before departure. If you come by car, you will find free car parks nearby.

• Please note that this activity requires a minimum of 2 participants to take place. If this number is not reached, we will contact you to reschedule the activity or give you a refund

• Please note that whale sightings during the tour cannot be guaranteed, as they are wild animals in their natural habitat. However, in case of no sightings we do offer a free ticket to join another tour on a different day at no additional cost, subject to availability

• You will be asked to show a valid form of ID upon arrival for check-in

• Please note that you will be asked to read & sign a safety waiver from our ticket office before departure

• To participate, you must be in good physical health and able to fit into one of our overalls, available up to size 3XL.
