Join us for a full day minibus adventure to the south coast of Iceland and experience the natural wonders including waterfalls, glaciers and black beaches along the way! Our journey begins with a visit to the Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, where you can walk behind the cascade and feel the mist on your face. Just a stone's throw away is the Gljúfrabúi Hidden Waterfall, a less-known gem tucked away in a canyon, offering a sense of discovery as you navigate the narrow path to reach it. The next highlight is the majestic Skógafoss Waterfall, one of Iceland's biggest and most picturesque falls, where you can climb the stairs to the top for a panoramic view.
After a morning of exploration, we take a break for lunch at a scheduled stop in a local restaurant or cafeteria, where you can choose from a variety of dishes at your own expense. The adventure continues at the Sólheimajökull Glacier, a mesmerizing outlet of the Mýrdalsjökull ice cap, where you can witness the dynamic landscape shaped by ice and volcanic activity. Our next stop is the Dyrhólaey Sea Arches, a dramatic volcanic promontory that offers stunning views of the surrounding coastline and the chance to spot puffins during the nesting season.
Our final stop is the iconic Black Beach of Reynisfjara, famous for its black sands, basalt columns, and the powerful Atlantic waves. A short drive brings us to the charming Vík Village, where you have some time to explore the local shops or simply enjoy the scenic beauty before we head back to Reykjavik. This tour is ideal for anyone looking to immerse themselves in Iceland’s unique landscapes and natural wonders.
