We meet at our office (Rovakatu 24, 96200 Rovaniemi)
Venture deep into the Arctic wilderness for an unforgettable experience of hunting the Northern Lights in Lapland’s landscapes. After we pick you up from your accommodation and outfit you with professional winter overalls and boots, your Northern Lights guide will drive you away from Rovaniemi, heading straight into the wilderness to start the Northern Lights hunt. As you journey through this winter wonderland, you will traverse through snowy forests, witness the beauty of powerful rapids, and marvel at quaint frozen beaches and vast ice-covered lakes. This is an adventure where the Arctic nature reveals its stunning beauty.
During this 4-hour Northern Lights hunt, you can visit up to three different locations to maximize your chances of observing the Northern Lights. We also monitor weather conditions throughout the tour, and together, we can decide to hop back into the minivan and move to another location if needed. Halfway through, your guide will light a campfire where you will be provided with a typical Finnish campfire snack. Enjoy hot drinks, grilled sausages, and toasted bread as you warm yourself by the fire under the Arctic sky.
Do not forget to bring your camera to capture the magical moments of the Northern Lights. You can rent or buy a tripod from us if you wish. In addition, your guide will be equipped with a professional camera and will take many pictures for you, of you, and the Northern Lights. A link to download all the pictures will be sent to you the next day. This offer is ideal for people who want to capture and experience the Northern Lights and Lapland’s landscapes.
