Join us on a private Husky sleigh ride adventure through the snow-covered landscapes of Lapland in Muonio. With just you and your guide, enjoy the tranquility of nature as you pass through snowy trails where reindeer, moose, and arctic foxes roam. The day begins with an introduction to steering the sledge, followed by harnessing the enthusiastic dogs, who are eager to lead the way. Take hold of the reins as you glide through a magical winter setting, with views of mountain ranges and dense forests, and take in glimpses of Sami culture and historical sites along the way.
If you are sharing a sledge, one of you can snap photos of the breathtaking scenery while the other steers, and halfway through, you can switch places so each of you gets a turn. After about 10 kilometers, we will remove the harnesses and give the Huskies a well-deserved treat, like meat soup or a chicken snack, rewarding them for their hard work. Before saying goodbye, there will be time for final cuddles with our loyal companions.
Finally, warm up in the cozy glow of a fire in the Kota, sipping hot juice and enjoying Finnish pastries. You can chat about the adventure and ask any questions about the Huskies. This unforgettable experience lasts around 2 to 2.5 hours, creating lasting memories and a deep appreciation for the beauty of Lapland’s wilderness.
