Set out on a memorable day trip with a private Husky sleigh ride through the snow-covered landscapes of Lapland near Muonio. This exclusive experience invites you to explore the peaceful wilderness with your guide, where you may encounter wildlife such as reindeer, moose, and arctic foxes. Begin your adventure with a lesson on steering the sledge, followed by harnessing the eager Huskies, ready to pull you through the snow. As you glide through the winter scenery, you will pass by frozen lakes, snow-covered mountains, and dense forests. Along the way, you may also catch glimpses of Sami culture and historic landmarks.
If you are sharing the sledge, one person can take photos of the stunning views while the other steers, and there will be a chance to swap positions midway so that everyone can fully experience both roles. The journey includes a well-deserved break to enjoy a small included lunch. After covering the 30-kilometer route, we’ll work together to unharness our loyal Huskies, giving them a bit of attention before they enjoy a tasty meal of meat soup or a chicken snack.
Afterward, relax by a cozy fire in the Kota, sipping hot juice and enjoying Finnish pastries as you reflect on your unforgettable adventure. This is also your chance to ask any questions you may have about the dogs. This day trip, lasting about 5 to 6 hours, offers lasting memories and a deeper connection to the wild beauty of Lapland.
