Embark on an unforgettable Super Jeep adventure through the stunning Fjallabak Nature Reserve, where you’ll explore Iceland’s wild volcanic landscapes in a specially equipped vehicle. While our planned route includes incredible destinations, the exact stops may vary depending on the conditions of the day. Rest assured, we will adapt the journey to ensure you experience the best possible adventure.
Our route may take us to the iconic Mt. Mælifell, a striking green moss-covered volcano set against the dramatic black sands of Mælifellssandur. If conditions allow, we might also visit the vibrant Rauðibotn crater, home to a mesmerizing emerald lake surrounded by deep red rock formations. Álftavatn, with its serene waters and rich birdlife, could offer a perfect moment for relaxation and photography.
As we venture further, we may explore the awe-inspiring Markarfljótsgljúfur canyon, where towering lava walls frame a glacial river, and perhaps stop at the picturesque Torfahlaup nearby. Depending on the day’s conditions, we might also get a glimpse of the mighty Mt. Hekla, one of Iceland’s most active volcanoes, before reaching the breathtaking geothermal area of Landmannalaugar.
While the exact itinerary may change, one thing is certain—you will experience Iceland’s raw beauty in an unforgettable way.
