What to Expect

Bring your kid to this exciting skiing experience with our ski lessons for kids from 5 years old until 12 years old in Borovets, in Bulgaria! Nestled in the Rila Mountains, Borovets is a picturesque ski resort offering a stunning natural setting and top-notch facilities. The resort features a variety of slopes perfect for beginners to learn their first moves. Our ski lessons are designed to introduce children to the fundamentals of skiing, including balancing, stopping, and turning, all essential for building confidence on the snow.

The lesson begins with a warm-up session on the beginner slopes of Borovets, where young skiers will get familiar with their ski equipment and learn how to properly wear their skis. Our experienced instructors focus on teaching the importance of body posture and weight distribution, which are crucial for maintaining control and stability. As the lesson progresses, kids will practice gliding smoothly down gentle inclines, mastering the art of the snowplough turn, a vital technique for navigating slopes safely.

Throughout the session, children will also enjoy exploring the scenic pathway of the Yastrebets area, which offers a safe environment for young learners. The lessons are conducted in small groups, ensuring each child receives ample attention and guidance. The Borovets ski resort, with its extensive network of blue and red slopes, provides an ideal setting for kids to develop their skiing skills. Meeting Time

We meet at our office, 30 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

On the first day of the lesson you don’t need a ski pass. Depending on the progress, your instructor will inform you on which day a ski pass is required.

All participants need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Please be aware that you need a ski pass to take your kid to the meeting point.

In order to not lose time at the beginning of your lesson, please buy your ski pass in advance.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please note that the course only takes place with a minimum of 3 participants

• Ski equipment is not included in the price of the lesson

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson
