What to Expect

Our private ski lessons for kids from 7 to 17 years old of all levels are ideal if you want your children to learn or improve their skills on the slopes of La Thuile. Nestled in the Italian Alps, La Thuile is a charming ski resort offering over 150 kilometres of slopes, catering to both beginners and advanced skiers. With a varied mix of blue, red, and challenging black slopes, the resort provides the perfect environment for young skiers to explore and enhance their skills in a safe and scenic setting. The resort's facilities include magic carpets and conveyor belts in its dedicated beginner areas, ensuring easy access to the slopes without the need for intimidating chairlifts.

During the lessons, our expert independent ski instructors will tailor the session to match the abilities of your child, accommodating up to 6 participants of similar skill levels. Beginners will start by familiarising with their equipment and learning the fundamental techniques of skiing, such as balance and posture. For more advanced children, the lessons focus on refining their skills, mastering parallel skiing, and tackling steeper slopes. These skills are crucial for building confidence and control on the mountain, ensuring that every young skier can navigate the slopes with ease and safety.

The lessons also offer a unique opportunity for your child to be guided around the beautiful resort, with instructors highlighting the best spots for a sunny lunch break or a panoramic view. This customised approach not only enhances skiing skills but also makes the experience enjoyable and memorable. Our ski lessons are perfect for young skiers who are eager to learn and explore the diverse terrain of La Thuile, as they provide a comprehensive and engaging way to develop skiing proficiency.

Meeting Time

We meet at the base of the chairlift Bosco Express, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Lunch Care

If you book the full day option for your kids, please contact us beforehand to discuss the lunch break.

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

In order to not lose time at the beginning of your lesson, please buy your ski pass in advance.

Good to Know

• Ski equipment is not included in the price of the lesson

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• The minimum age is a general recommendation and may vary depending on level and experience.

• Depending on your skill level and the conditions, you will also have the option to go off-piste with your instructor during the private lesson. However, this has to be arranged beforehand with the ski teacher as you need to have the correct equipment.

• The whole family can join the private lessons together, regardless of skill level. However, please be aware that this could affect the quality.
