Explore the Eyjafjallajökull Glacier on our snowmobiling tour! This tour starts with a thrilling ride in a modified Super Jeep, taking you through the rugged Icelandic terrain to the snowmobiling base. Once you reach the base, you will be equipped with a snowsuit, helmet, gloves, and mask to ensure a comfortable experience before embarking on your snowmobiling adventure.

On this approximately one-hour snowmobile ride across the breathtaking Eyjafjallajökull glacier, you will experience the Icelandic wilderness like never before. On clear days, the views are spectacular, allowing you to see the Westman Islands, the expansive highlands, and the entirety of the south coast. How to Get There

• Meeting place: Brú Base Camp

• Meeting time: 15 minutes before departure

• Car parks nearby: at the meeting place (free)

• Return: at the end of the activity, we will return to the starting point

• Pick up service available from Hvolsvöllur / Hella, Reykjavik and Sellfoss / Vik. Please select your favoured pick up spot during the booking process.

• You are allowed to bring your own drinks and snacks

• Not recommended for people who suffer from any back problems, or had any back operations

• Please note that this activity requires a minimum of 2 participants to take place. If this number is not reached, we will contact you to reschedule the activity or give you a refund

• According to Icelandic law, a learner´s permit, tractor, or motorcycle license is not sufficient to ride a snowmobile

• Each snowmobile can take up to 2 passengers that can take turns. If you book a shared ride but there is an odd number of participants, you will have to buy a single ride.
