Enjoy a Full Day Hike to Landmannalaugar & The Valley of Tears! Set your sights on the enchanting landscapes of the Fjallabak Nature Reserve in the Highlands of Iceland. As you approach Landmannalaugar, prepare to be mesmerized by the kaleidoscope of colours that paint the vibrant rhyolite mountains, a spectacle of nature's artistry. The journey through this geological wonderland offers a close-up view of bubbling hot springs and ancient lava fields, remnants of thousands of years of volcanic activity.

Our adventure begins with a guided hike through the mystical Laugahraun lava field, where you'll encounter the obsidian formations famously known as "Dragon Glass" from Game of Thrones. The smooth, sharp edges of the obsidian glisten in the daylight, creating a surreal landscape. The hike continues towards the striking Brennisteinsalda, or "the Sulphur Wave", where the mountains seem to dance with hues of red, yellow, and green, courtesy of the minerals such as iron and sulphur. This approximately two-hour hike is both invigorating and awe-inspiring, offering a unique perspective of Iceland's natural beauty.

After exploring the breathtaking landscape, you will have over three hours to immerse yourself in the wonders of Landmannalaugar. Choose to follow different trails or indulge in a refreshing soak in the natural hot pool, a perfect way to unwind amidst nature's splendour. Do not forget to bring your swimsuit and towel for this rejuvenating experience.
