What to Expect

Walk among some of the most beautiful animals in the snow-covered landscapes around Kiruna. On this bus tour, you will have the opportunity to feed reindeer, experience Sami culture up close, and, if conditions allow, spot the northern lights dancing across the sky. Our comfortable bus will pick you up from your accommodation and take you on a scenic journey through the snowy wilderness to Sopporo, approximately 120 km away. The bus is equipped with spacious seating and large windows, offering stunning views along the way.

Upon arrival in Sopporo, you will spend ample time with the magnificent reindeers. This is a rare chance to learn about Sámi traditions and the art of reindeer herding. You'll discover what it means to grow up with these animals, as well as the deep connection between the Sámi people and their land. After feeding the reindeer, warm up inside a traditional Sámi hut, where a fire burns at the center. Here, you can enjoy a hot drink and a sweet snack while listening to fascinating stories about Sámi culture.

As we head back, we will keep our eyes on the skies for the chance to witness the enchanting northern lights.
