Embark on this adventure to explore one of Norway's most beautiful fjords in our boat trip from Ålesund along Hjørundfjord. This scenic journey begins as we leave the charming town of Ålesund, known for its art nouveau architecture, and head towards the serene waters of the fjord. Our classic fjord boat, the MS Bruvik, provides all the comforts you need, including a large sundeck, cosy lounges, and a restaurant. As we glide through the fjord, you will be mesmerised by the towering peaks reaching over 1,500 meters, the lush hillsides, and the pristine reflections in the water.

We pass by the small and quaint fjord villages of Hundeidvik, Skår, Trandal, Sæbø and Urke before arriving at Øye village. These are small villages best described by a Norwegian saying: “where no one would believe that anyone could live.” Tiny settlements clinging to the steep mountainsides, with only a small patch of land to make a living.

The highlight of the trip is our stop at Øye, where we have a 30-minute break for you to explore. Here, you can visit the renowned Hotel Union Øye, a historic establishment offering a glimpse into Norway's opulent past. The return journey offers another chance to soak in the breathtaking vistas of Hjørundfjord as we head back to Ålesund. This tour is ideal for nature lovers, those seeking tranquillity, and anyone looking to experience the untouched beauty of Norway’s fjords.

We meet in front of our white and black boat "MS Bruvik" on the docks outside the cruise terminal, 15 minutes before departure. If you come by car, you will find paid car parks nearby.
