About the Activity

What to Expect

Capture the magic northern lights with this tour from Stockholm! Begin your adventure with a comfortable journey in our cozy bus, equipped with plush seats and panoramic windows, ensuring you do not miss the stunning Swedish landscapes en route. As you travel, your guide will entertain you with fascinating stories and myths about the Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis. These tales are magical in their own right and set the perfect tone for the evening ahead.

Upon arrival at one of our carefully selected locations, you will be greeted with a warm Swedish welcome. Enjoy a traditional fika with a variety of hot drinks and delicious cinnamon buns, a true taste of Sweden. If conditions allow, your guide will create a cozy atmosphere by making a fire and serving traditional boiled coffee over an open flame—a classic Nordic experience. Be ready to capture the beauty of the Northern Lights with your camera, as our guides, who are avid photographers, will assist you in capturing incredible images. Remember to bring your tripod for the best possible results.

As the night progresses, we may visit several spectacular locations known for their excellent Northern Lights viewing conditions. Your guide will make decisions based on weather conditions, ensuring the best possible experience. Although Stockholm is further south than typical hotspots, with the right solar activity and ideal weather, the auroras can be breathtaking, especially when captured through photography. Once the hunt for the Northern Lights concludes, we head back, aiming to return to Stockholm Central Train Station, where you will have easy access to further transport options.
