Enjoy a kayak tour in the Stockholm archipelago with an outdoor lunch and hiking! We will meet at the office south of Stockholm before driving together to Dalarö, a charming village from where we will begin paddling with our kayaks. As we glide through the waters, you will notice the iconic little wooden red houses discreetly nestled among the pines, a quintessential part of the Swedish landscape. Our guide will share fascinating stories and insights about these traditional homes and the area’s rich history.
Throughout the day, we will explore different islands by kayak, each offering unique landscapes and breathtaking views. Our exploration will be rewarded with a filling meal on one of the deserted islands, where you will enjoy the tranquility accompanied only by the gentle swell of the Baltic Sea and the melodious singing of birds. As we continue our journey, keep an eye out for the majestic sea eagles soaring above, and perhaps you will spot migratory birds like the graceful great cormorant or the various types of geese flying across the horizon.
By the end of the afternoon, we will paddle back to Dalarö, retracing our path through this stunning part of the archipelago. With a heart full of memories and lungs refreshed by the pure air, we will return to Stockholm, carrying with us the serene beauty of nature and the joy of having experienced one of the wildest and most beautiful parts of the Swedish coast.
