What to Expect
Glide and test your skills on the frozen paradise of Stockholm on our full day ice skating tour for intermediate skaters with complimentary lunch. For those of you who are confident skaters and have previous experience on natural ice, ovals, rinks, inline skating or cross country skiing skating-style, this is the perfect winter day tour for you. Starting early to take advantage of the daylight, your experienced guide will brief you on the tour and safety equipment before leading you to the day’s best ice location in Stockholm’s breathtaking natural surroundings. This tour is at a higher tempo and focuses on covering a good distance, potentially up to 70 km, across the spectacular icy landscapes of the Stockholm archipelago or its large lakes.
The tour lasts approximately eight hours, with around six hours dedicated to skating on natural ice. During a break, you will stop at a sheltered and scenic spot for a well-deserved picnic lunch featuring grilled hotdogs and hot drinks around a cozy open fire. The atmosphere is ideal for some banter with your new skating companions. After lunch, you will feel refreshed and ready to enjoy more skating before heading back to the city.
