About the Activity

What to Expect

Discover the breathtaking beauty of Iceland's iconic landscapes on our minibus tour of the Golden Circle, complete with convenient pick-up from the Reykjavík area. Our journey begins with a scenic drive of approximately 45 minutes to the quaint town of Hveragerði, where we make a brief stop to stretch and use the facilities. Known for its geothermal activity, this charming town offers a wonderful glimpse of Iceland's unique natural beauty. Continuing on, we head towards the mesmerizing Kerið Crater, a volcanic crater lake renowned for its strikingly vivid aquamarine water and steep red slopes, making it a must-visit geological wonder.

Our next highlight is the iconic Geysir, located about 45 minutes from Kerið. Here, you will have time to marvel at the geothermal hot springs and witness the powerful eruptions of Strokkur geyser while enjoying a delicious lunch at the Geysir Center. After refueling, we hop back on the bus for a short 10-minute drive to the breathtaking Gullfoss Waterfall. This stunning two-tiered waterfall plunges into a deep ravine, creating a captivating natural spectacle that showcases the raw power and beauty of Iceland's landscapes.

Our adventure concludes with a visit to the historical Þingvellir National Park, about an hour's drive from Gullfoss. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is not only a place of significant cultural heritage but also offers extraordinary views of where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet. As we explore this remarkable park, enjoy the serene beauty and learn about its historical significance before we head back to Reykjavík.
