What to Expect

Explore the refreshing waterfalls and natural pools of Absalon with a discovery canyoning near Fort-de-France! Upon arrival at the meeting point, you will be greeted with a warm welcome and can take advantage of the toilets and changing rooms to get ready for the adventure ahead. After gearing up with quality equipment, our expert guide will lead you through a series of workshops to explain how the equipment works, discuss safety rules, and outline the route. With everything in place, it is time to depart for the adventure and set off on a short 20 minutes hike to the canyon.

Once in the canyon, you will be amazed by the pristine beauty of the surroundings. Under the guidance of a state-qualified guide, you will navigate through various jumps with a maximum height of 5 meters. Do not worry if you are not keen on jumping; these are not mandatory, and alternatives are available. As you progress, enjoy the thrill of 10-meter abseilings along the waterfalls and the excitement of sliding down little waterfalls. Take a moment to appreciate the diverse fauna and flora of the jungle, adding an extra layer of wonder to your experience.

After the exhilarating adventure, you can return to the meeting point where you first prepared.
