What to Expect
Come and discover the fabulous diving world with our trial dive in Saint-François. This activity is for anyone who wants to experience the feeling of weightlessness underwater for the first time. Accompanied by a certified diving instructor, you will dive to a depth of 6 metres for around 30 minutes amid Guadeloupe's abundant underwater flora and fauna. Even better: you can share this experience with your family or friends, as up to 4 people can dive with one instructor. The only condition? You must be over 12 years old.
Dive Area
Guadeloupe, with its crystal-clear waters, is a renowned diving destination. Saint-François, located at the south-eastern tip of Grande-Terre, is surrounded by a coral reef home to numerous species of tropical fish, from the most sober to the most colourful, including angelfish, black surgeon fish and trumpet fish. If you're lucky, you will also come across stingrays, lemon sharks and sea turtles, which live in these warm waters. This shallow lagoon is ideal for beginners.
Programme
We meet you at our dive centre at the booked time. After welcoming you and handing over your equipment, we will go to the boat. On board, we will show you how to gear up and how your equipment works, and then we will head out to the dive site near the coral reef.
You will then dive with your instructor for around 30 minutes. Your instructor will teach you the basics of diving so that you can make the most of your experience. Before or after your turn, you can use the snorkeling equipment provided to enjoy the lagoon. Once everyone has completed their dive, the boat will return to the diving centre.
