We really enjoyed the ski course with Nicole (beginner course without previous ski experience). We had booked for a total of 3 days. During this time we did a lot of exercises that continually built on each other and after 3 days we arrived at parallel riding. But now we have to practice a lot and practice what we have learned. We can fully recommend Nicole as a professional ski instructor.
Iona was a super friendly and very patient ski instructor. The 3 days with her were a lot of fun and she responded 100 percent to our needs.
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
The groups are very small, with a maximum of 3 participants.
Yes, this course is specifically designed for first-timers who have never skied before, as well as for skiers with little previous experience.
You will learn the basics like getting used to the equipment, ploughing, and braking. By the end of the course, you will be able to master blue runs safely on your own.
The ski lessons take place over 3 days.
You should meet your instructor 10 minutes before the lessons start.
