Details

In our 3-day snowboard course for beginners in the beautiful ski resort of Davos/Klosters, you can improve significantly in a short time and learn to love snow sports with lots of fun. Our experienced snowboard instructors focus on teaching you to snowboard in a short amount of time. At the beginning, you will get used to the equipment and do your first exercises in weight shifting, gliding and correct braking. Over time, you will feel comfortable on the board and manage your first change between backside and frontside edge. Safety is very important to us and due to the very small groups with a maximum of 4 participants, this is guaranteed as well as enough attention from the instructors. This means that everyone can be dealt with individually in order to optimize weaknesses in a targeted way. At the end of the course, you will be able to celebrate great successes and master blue runs safely on your own. Meeting time We meet 10 minutes before the lessons start. Davos: In Davos Platz at the bottom of the Jakobshorn Gondola by the Bardill Sport Klosters: At the top of Madrisa by the sports shop Ski pass All snowboarders need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass before the first lesson at the ski lift ticket office on-site. Good to know If the minimum number of 2 participants is not reached, private lessons will be provided instead, equivalent in value to the booked group lessons.

FAQ

Offers by Ben&Joe's Private Ski & SB School Davos361 Reviews7 Offers
What should I wear for my lessons?

You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.

When should I collect my equipment?

You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.

Do I need to wear a helmet?

Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.

Where can I buy a ski pass?

Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.

Do I need to book my lessons in advance?

Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.

How big are the groups?

The groups are small with a maximum of 4 participants to ensure personal attention and a safe learning environment.

Where do we meet for the lessons?

In Davos, the meeting point is in Davos Platz at the bottom of the Jakobshorn Gondola by Bardill Sport. In Klosters, you meet at the top of Madrisa next to the sports shop.

When should we arrive for the lessons?

Please meet your instructor 10 minutes before the lessons start.

What will I learn during the course?

You will get used to the snowboard equipment and practice weight shifting, gliding, and braking. Over time, you will learn to change between frontside and backside edges and safely master blue runs on your own.

What happens if the minimum number of participants is not reached?

If the minimum group size of 2 participants is not reached, private lessons equivalent in value to the booked group lessons will be provided instead.
