Our journey begins with a brief introduction to the equipment and basic instructions on how to navigate the snowy terrain. As you set out on this easy trail, you will feel the crunch of snow beneath the snowshoes and marvel at the serene, snowy landscape surrounding you. An experienced guide will accompany you, ensuring you are comfortable and safe throughout the four-hour exploration.

Our adventure is capped with a stop at a frozen lake where you will try your hand at ice fishing, a cherished Finnish tradition. The guide will provide all the necessary ice fishing gear and instruct you on the techniques. You will savour the peacefulness of the frozen wilderness while enjoying light refreshments and snacks. Nestled in the breathtaking Finnish countryside, the resort offers a cosy retreat with amenities to warm up after your outdoor escapades. The tour requires a basic fitness level and is perfect for those seeking a gentle introduction to snowshoeing and ice fishing in a unique, enchanting setting.

Pick up is included anywhere within an 8-km radius of Rovaniemi, this is arranged individually after booking

Requirements

• Minimum age: 5 years

• Moderate physical fitness

• Ability to walk on uneven and icy terrain for several hours

• Children under 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult paying the full price

• Please note that the activity only takes places with a minimum of 2 participants

• Pick-up outside of the 8-km radius is possible, however, must be arranged beforehand and will need to be paid on site with cash or card
