What to expect
At Kranjska Gora, our private ski lessons for children and teens aged 3 to 17 are open to all levels, from complete beginners discovering the snow for the first time to young skiers eager to perfect their turns.
Each lesson is fully personalized to suit your child’s needs, pace, and confidence. Our experienced instructors use fun, engaging teaching methods to help kids progress naturally while keeping every moment enjoyable.
Whether it’s their first slide down a gentle slope or they’re working on refining their technique on more challenging runs, your child will gain confidence, improve their skills, and most importantly – have fun on the beautiful slopes of Kranjska Gora.

What should I wear for my lessons?
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
When should I collect my equipment?
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Do I need to wear a helmet?
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Where can I buy a ski pass?
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Do I need to book my lessons in advance?
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
