We meet at Chalet Valentino (Valle delle Gravare, 67037 Roccaraso AQ)
Our kids ski lessons in Roccaraso offer an ideal introduction to skiing, tailored especially for young skiers. Nestled in the heart of the Apennines, the Roccaraso ski resort boasts a wonderful variety of slopes and scenic views. With modern facilities and a welcoming atmosphere, Roccaraso is the perfect place for children to begin their skiing journey.
The lesson begins with a focus on first timers and beginners, ensuring that each child becomes familiar with their equipment and the basic movements. Our expert ski instructors guide the small groups of up to 6 kids through playful exercises in the beginner areas of the resort. These activities are designed to help young skiers build confidence and learn how to control their skis, which is crucial for their safety and enjoyment on the slopes.
Children who are more intermediate skiers will refine their skills with more advanced techniques such as parallel skiing. They will also tackle slightly steeper slopes under the careful supervision of our instructors. This part of the lesson aims to improve their technique and prepare them for more challenging runs in the future. With a focus on safety and fun, our ski lessons in Roccaraso provide a memorable experience that nurtures a love for skiing in every child.
We meet at Chalet Valentino, 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.

You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
