Once you are confident, you can chart your own course and discover the island's hidden gems.

Although you have the freedom to go where you want, we highly recommend visiting some of La Désirade's highlights. Begin with the Notre Dame du Calvaire Chapel, a serene spot offering panoramic views. From there, head to the old weather station, which stands as a testament to the island's historical significance. Don't miss the former cotton mill, a relic of the island's agricultural past. The Desert Botanical Garden is another must-see, home to unique plant species that thrive in this arid environment.
