Join us for a boat trip from Kotor to discover some of Montenegro’s most stunning gems. Along the way, enjoy a delicious mussel lunch and local wine tasting—just like the locals do! We depart from Kotor and make a brief stop at the entrances of the abandoned submarine tunnels, built by the Yugoslav Army during the Cold War. From there, you can enjoy the panoramic view of Mamula, a small island with a circular fortress that served as a concentration camp during World War II, located at the entrance of the Bay of Boka Kotorska. Our skipper will share the history of this unique site.
The highlight of the trip is a visit to the Blue Cave, one of the most popular attractions in the region. This spot, only reachable by boat, is famous for its crystal-clear water and the blue light that fills the cave, making it a perfect place for swimming and diving. On our way back, we will stop at the islet of Our Lady of the Rocks, the most visited place in the Bay of Kotor. The main feature of this artificial island is the Roman Catholic Church of Our Lady of the Rocks, which stands proudly surrounded by sea and legends.
The final stop is at a local mussel farm, located at the south-facing end of the bay. Here, you will see how mussels are harvested, cleaned, and cooked the Montenegrin way. Your lunch includes fresh mussels and local red or white wine, served in a relaxed and scenic setting.
We meet at our base, 20 minutes before departure. If you come by car, you will find paid parking nearby.
