• Guided by expert marine biologists
Join our educational and scientific whale-watching boat trip in Tenerife, led by expert marine biologists, where you will experience whales both by sight and sound using a hydrophone, all while participating in a unique field study in the protected Teno-Rasca marine area. Departing from Las Galletas, the tour begins with a journey along the impressive lava landscape of the Malpaís de Rasca. As we enter the marine protected area between the islands of Tenerife and La Gomera, you will be in one of the most biodiverse marine environments, home to a variety of cetaceans.
During the tour, keep an eye out for marine mammals and observe these fascinating creatures in a respectful manner. Listen to their sounds using our hydrophone, and with explanations from our expert marine biologist, gain a deeper understanding of what you see and hear. At the same time, we conduct our field study, inviting everyone on board to participate. This is not only an adventure but also a chance to contribute to marine science.
Our boat is a comfortable RIB Boat with a maximum capacity of 10 people, ensuring a more intimate experience. Its design allows us to get closer to the whales without disturbing them, providing an exclusive ambience for observing these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.
We meet at the entrance Marina del Sur, Pier 4, 10 minutes before departure. If you come by car, you will find free and paid parking nearby.
