Join our crew on a whale and dolphin watching RIB boat trip from Machico to one of Madeira’s most active marine areas, with the chance to swim with dolphins in the wild. This exciting trip begins with a comfortable ride on our RIB Boat, designed for quick and agile movements on the water. As we head out to sea, keep your eyes peeled for the magnificent whales and playful dolphins that frequent these waters.

How to Get There

We meet at our office at the port in Marina de Machico, Porto de Recreio, 15 minutes before departure. If you come by car, you will find paid parking nearby (free from November to May).

Characteristics of The Boat

• RIB boat

• Number of passengers: 14 or 30 depending on the boat

• No sun-protected area

• There are two boats: one for 14 passengers and one for 30. Restrooms are only available on the 30-passenger boat.

• Pick up from Carnico 45 minutes before the trip (at surcharge of 6 € per person)

• Pick up from Funchal 1 hour before the trip (at surcharge of 11 € per person)

• Trips may be rescheduled or refunded in case of bad weather or if the minimum number of participants is not met

• Swimming with dolphins is not guaranteed on every tour. It depends on the species present and sea conditions
