We meet in front of the Cit Roc chairlift, by the Preskige black flag (XV4J+FFC Sestriere, Metropolitan City of Turin)
These group ski lessons are perfect if your kid would like to try skiing in a fun and safe way. Tailored for kids between 5 and 14 years old with little skiing experience, this lesson is not ideal for absolute beginners. In groups of maximum 8 kids, your child will receive all the attention and care needed to learn comfortably. The lesson is designed to last around 3 hours, providing the perfect balance between effective learning and enjoyment without overwhelming young learners. Our dedicated instructors ensure that kids not only learn the basics of skiing but also have a fantastic time exploring the snow-covered slopes.
During the lessons, children will start with their first steps on the snow using our magic carpet, a gentle conveyor belt that makes it easy to get up the slope without any hassle. This feature is crucial for building confidence and teaching them how to handle skis. As your child progresses, they will learn essential skills such as stopping, turning, and basic manoeuvres. These foundational skills are critical as they form the basis for all future skiing techniques. Our instructors are committed to making learning both fun and safe, ensuring that each child feels encouraged and supported throughout the process.
Sestriere is an excellent resort for kids, known for its family-friendly atmosphere and well-groomed slopes. You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
