We meet at Bar La Buvette (Frazione Entreves, 150, 11016 La Thuile AO)
Our private snowboard lessons in La Thuile, in the beautiful Val d’Aosta, are designed for adults from 13 years old who want focused, personalized instruction. Perfect for first-time riders, these beginner lessons help participants gain confidence and learn the fundamentals in a fun and supportive environment.
La Thuile offers ideal conditions for learning, with gentle beginner slopes, a magic carpet, and stunning Alpine views. Lessons start with an introduction to the snowboard, safety basics, and proper stance. Riders learn how to maintain balance, control their speed, and make their first turns. Step by step, they build the skills and confidence to ride independently and enjoy their first real experience on the snow.
We meet in front of Bar La Buvette, 5 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Alex was an absolute legend. Context - 6 brand new snowboarders from London. Alex was extremely careful with breaking down the steps and attentive to how the individuals would interpret those instructions to advise changes and improvements. Beyond just teaching the lesson, Alex also ensured the safety of the participants by enforcing a separation of other users on the baby slope away from his students. Making it a really safe environment for the snowboard learners. Additionally, Alex noticed that the rental boards that we were using were inadequately waxed and needed to be repaired - this demonstrates that he truly observes why a student maybe struggling during the exercises. We only had one day with Alex but he was able to carefully provide the necessary drills and homework for us to continue to progress without him.
