Step beyond the groomed slopes and discover the thrill of skiing in its purest form. These freeride lessons in La Rosière are designed for skiers who are confident on red slopes and want to safely explore off-piste terrain. Whether you prefer a one-on-one session or a private group of up to 6 participants, your instructor will adapt the lesson to your pace and ability.
The session begins with an introduction to freeride safety, including how to use essential equipment such as a transceiver, probe, shovel, and backpack. Once everyone is comfortable with the basics, you will head out to explore La Rosière’s off-piste areas, learning how to control your turns and stay balanced on natural snow.
Throughout the lesson, your instructor will guide you in adapting to different snow types and slopes, helping you build confidence and refine your technique. Combining safety, progression, and adventure, this experience offers an excellent opportunity to explore the wild side of La Rosière’s ski area.
We meet at the blue Oxygène flags and banners, near the terrace of the “Le Flocon” restaurant and the chairlift ticket office, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.
