With the Northern Lights oval just above, this region offers an incredible opportunity to witness the natural phenomenon.

As night falls, the search begins. Our guides utilize advanced tools and their deep knowledge of the local weather to predict the best viewing locations. Even on cloudy days, we often find breaks in the clouds that provide a window to the lights. Along the way, you may stop in picturesque places like Bø in Vesterålen or Stokmarknes, each offering its own charm and unique perspective of the sky. The guides will capture professional-quality photos and videos of your experience under the Northern Lights, which will be shared with you after the tour, so you can relive the magical moments.

The tour is flexible, allowing us to extend the trip if necessary to find the best viewing conditions. Sometimes, this means driving further inland to escape the coastal weather patterns. How to Get There

We meet at the Scandic Sortland hotel or a gas station nearby, 5 minutes before departure. If you come by car, you will find free parking nearby.

Pick Up

Pick-ups from the Scandic Sortland Hotel or the nearby gas station are included in the price. Pick-ups from other locations are available at an additional cost.

• These tours are by minivan and we will only be walking in some cases if you want to. No hiking needed.
