What to Expect

If your kid is between 4 and 7 years old and would like to learn how to ski, these ski lessons for beginners in Plose are perfect. The Kids - Beginner course aims to introduce young children to the world of skiing. The adventure begins at "Rudiland", a specially designed area located next to the skilift "Randötsch". Here, the children will familiarize themselves with their ski equipment and learn the basics of balancing and gliding on snow. The area is equipped with magic carpets and plenty of playgrounds, creating a fun and engaging environment for the little ones to learn and explore.

As the lessons progress, the kids will practice their first snowplough turns on gentle slopes, an essential skill for controlling their speed and direction. This foundational technique is critical for building confidence and ensuring safety on the slopes. With small group sizes, each child receives personalized attention from our experienced ski instructors, who provide guidance and encouragement throughout the session. The focus is on making the learning process enjoyable and interactive, ensuring that each child feels comfortable and motivated.

The week culminates in an exciting ski race on Friday, where the children can showcase the skills they have learned. Following the race, there is a delightful award ceremony where each participant receives a small present, adding a memorable touch to the week. Outside of the Christmas period, this event is a highlight for the kids, boosting their confidence and sense of achievement. With its picturesque slopes and welcoming atmosphere, Plose offers the perfect setting for your child's first skiing experience.

Meeting Time

We meet at the valley station or, alternatively, at the middle station of Plose cable car, 5 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

First-timers do not need a ski pass for the first day of the lessons. The instructor will advise you when to buy the ski pass.

Parents do not need a ski pass to take their kid to the meeting point.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please note that the course only takes place with a minimum of 5 participants

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• The maximum group size is 8-12 participants per group
