These private ski touring lessons in Ischgl are tailored for adults who want to explore the mountains beyond the slopes. Nestled in the stunning Tyrolean Alps, Ischgl offers a blend of pristine landscapes and well-maintained facilities, making it a perfect destination for ski enthusiasts. During your lesson, our experienced instructor will guide you through the essentials of ski touring, ensuring that you progress safely and efficiently in the backcountry.
The sessions offer personalized instruction designed for safe, efficient progress in the backcountry. Prior skiing experience is required, as you'll be navigating off-piste terrain. However, no prior ski touring experience is necessary—we welcome those who are taking their first steps into this exciting sport! Beginners will learn the fundamentals of using touring equipment (bindings, skins, transceivers), mastering the 'kick-turn' for climbing, efficient pacing, and essential avalanche awareness and rescue skills.
For more advanced ski tourers, the focus shifts to refining off-piste downhill technique, practicing navigating complex terrain, improving transition efficiency, and deepening your knowledge of route planning and snow assessment. You can choose to book one-on-one lessons or learn in a small private group of up to a maximum of 7 participants. Each lesson is carefully crafted to ensure you can improve at your own pace, with exercises that suit your abilities and goals, while safely enjoying the magnificent, pristine surroundings of Ischgl's backcountry.
We individually arrange the meeting point with you according to your preferences. Simply contact the ski school after completing your booking.
Please arrive at the arranged meeting point 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.
