Directly at the ski school office, in the children's area, just below the chairlift (Sonnleitn 11, 9620 Hermagor)
If your kid wants to learn how to ski or work on their technique, our kids ski lessons for children between 4 and 14 years of all levels in the beautiful Sonnleitn ski resort are the perfect choice. Whether they are beginners or more advanced, our specially trained team of children's ski instructors will ensure that each child receives individual attention. The resort offers a picturesque setting with a range of slopes, making it ideal for skiing at one's own pace or advancing skills. At Sonnleitn, the focus is on creating an immersive and enjoyable learning experience, with facilities designed to accommodate skiers of all ages. With groups of maximum 10 kids, we ensure a fun, safe and sociable environment.
The lesson begins with a warm-up session on the gentle nursery slopes, where beginners will learn the basics of skiing, such as how to balance and control their movements. This foundational skill is crucial for building confidence and ensuring safety on the snow. Our instructors use age-appropriate techniques and playful exercises to engage the children, enhancing their confidence on the slope. As they progress, they will be guided through their first turns, learning how to navigate with ease and grace. For more advanced skiers, the focus shifts to refining their technique, mastering steeper slopes, and perfecting parallel skiing. These advanced skills are essential for tackling more challenging terrain with confidence.
The lessons are divided into different skill levels, so each participant, whether a novice or a more experienced skier, can find the right course for them. The highlight is the ski race on Thursday, where all skiers can show what they have learned. The emphasis is always on fun and the joy of skiing, fostering a love for the sport that will last a lifetime.
On the first day of the lessons, we meet latest 30 minutes before the start of the lessons at the meeting place in the kids area next to our ski school office (for beginners) or at the arranged meeting place (experienced skiers). Groups will be allocated on site.
On the other days, we meet 15 minutes before the start of the lessons at the meeting point.
First-timers do not need a ski pass for the first day of the lessons. The instructor will advise you when to buy the ski pass.
Parents do not need a ski pass to take their kid to the meeting point.
Skiers with previous experience need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. Also kids under 6 years need a ski pass (Bambiniskipass), as soon as they learn how to use the ski lift. It can be purchased at the lift station.
