What to Expect

Give your child the best start on the slopes with our private ski lessons for kids between 3 and 14 years at the beautiful Sonnleitn ski resort. Nestled in the heart of the Alps, Sonnleitn offers a picturesque setting with a variety of slopes and facilities, perfect for young learners to explore. The resort is known for its family-friendly atmosphere, modern lifts, and well-maintained trails, making it an ideal location for beginners and experienced skiers alike.

Our focus is on providing a truly individualized and highly effective learning experience. Our private lessons are tailored exactly to your child's needs, ability, and pace, ensuring rapid progress and maximum fun. Whether your child is an absolute beginner taking their very first slide or an advanced skier refining parallel turns, our experienced children's ski instructors provide focused attention. Lessons can be booked as one-on-one for the most personalized option or in a small group of up to 4 participants.

We use age-appropriate techniques and playful exercises to build confidence and ensure safety. From mastering balancing and control on the gentle slopes to tackling steeper terrain, the entire lesson is designed around your child. At Sonnleitn, the emphasis is always on fun, fostering a deep love for the sport that will last a lifetime.

Meeting Time

We meet 15 minutes before the start of the lessons at the meeting place in the kids' area next to our ski school office (for beginners) or at the arranged meeting place (experienced skiers). It is also possible to meet at Nassfeld - Sonnenalpe. Beginners will be brought to a kids' area with a skidoo.

Ski Pass

First-timers do not need a ski pass for the first day of the lessons. The instructor will advise you when to buy the ski pass.

Parents do not need a ski pass to take their kid to the meeting point.

Skiers with previous experience need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. Also kids under 6 years need a ski pass (Bambiniskipass), as soon as they learn how to use the ski lift. It can be purchased at the lift station.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• The whole family can join the private lessons together, as long as everyone has a similar skill level

• Guests staying in the valley - please allow enough time for the ascent with the Millennium Express to the Tressdorfer Alm (approx. 30 minutes without queuing).
