What to Expect

Give yourself or your child the best start on the slopes with our private snowboarding lessons at the beautiful Sonnleitn ski resort. Designed for riders starting from age 3 of all levels, our focus is on providing a truly individualized and highly effective learning experience. Nestled in the heart of the Alps, Sonnleitn offers a stunning array of slopes and facilities, including a dedicated snowpark and gentle nursery slopes, making it the ideal setting for both beginners and advanced snowboarders alike.

Our private lessons are tailored exactly to your needs, ability, and pace, ensuring rapid progress and maximum enjoyment on the board. Whether you are an absolute beginner taking your very first slide or an advanced rider aiming to hit the terrain park, our experienced instructors provide focused attention. Beginners will master the fundamentals, such as balancing, controlling your edge, and safely stopping on the gentle nursery slopes. These skills are essential for building confidence and ensuring safety on the mountain.

For more advanced snowboarders, the focus shifts to refining your technique and turning precision, mastering challenging slopes and varied conditions, and learning new tricks in the designated snowpark. You will also explore off-piste terrain, where conditions permit, under the guidance of our knowledgeable instructors. Lessons offer flexibility and can be booked as one-on-one sessions or in small private groups of up to 4 participants.

Meeting Time

We meet 15 minutes before the start of the lessons at the meeting place in the kids' area next to our ski school office (for beginners) or at the arranged meeting place (experienced skiers). It is also possible to meet at Nassfeld - Sonnenalpe. Beginners will be brought to a kids' area with a skidoo.

Ski Pass

First-timers do not need a ski pass for the first day of the lessons. The instructor will advise you when to buy the ski pass.

Snowboarders with previous experience need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. Also kids under 6 years need a ski pass (Bambiniskipass), as soon as they learn how to use the ski lift. It can be purchased at the lift station.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure you have a snowboard, snowboard boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• The whole family can join the private lessons together, as long as everyone has a similar skill level

• Guests staying in the valley - please allow enough time for the ascent with the Millennium Express to the Tressdorfer Alm (approx. 30 minutes without queuing).
