What to Expect

These ski lessons for children aged 7 to 12 with skiing experience guarantee the greatest learning success in the snow. Oberwiesenthal provides excellent conditions for making quick progress. Our certified and experienced ski instructors ensure a pleasant and safe learning environment, as well as plenty of fun on the slopes. The resort offers both challenging slopes and a snow park for more advanced children, all set in a stunning Alpine landscape.

In small groups of 4-8 participants, children are grouped by age and ability, which allows for individual attention and tailored feedback from the ski instructors. The children practice parallel skiing and learn to tackle steeper slopes. The focus on refining technique helps them become more confident on their skis.

The friendly atmosphere in Oberwiesenthal enhances the learning experience, making it an unforgettable introduction to skiing. The course design ensures that children not only improve their technique but also gain the confidence they need for continuous progress.

Meeting Time

We meet at the "Starthaus" directly at the main ski slope just below the ice skating rink, 15 minutes before the start of the lesson. If you booked with ski rental, please pick up your equipment at the rental shop an hour before the start of the lesson.

Lunch Care

The lunch break takes place between 12:00 and 13:30. The children can be picked up at the meeting point at the "Starthaus" and brought back there after the break.

Equipment Rental

If you need rental equipment, please add it to your shopping cart during the checkout process when booking.

The equipment you booked can be conveniently collected at the ski rental shop. We recommend that you pick up your equipment at our rental shop from 4 p.m. on the day before.

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• If the minimum number of 4 participants is not reached, the course time will be shortened.
