At the "Starthaus" directly at the main ski slope just below the ice skating rink (Vierenstraße 8, 09484 Oberwiesenthal)
These snowboarding lessons for adults and teenagers aged 13 and over are ideal for beginners and experienced snowboarders looking to improve their technique. In the picturesque setting of Oberwiesenthal, you will make quick learning progress and soon feel confident on the snow. The resort offers a variety of slopes suitable for all levels, from easy runs to challenging terrain and the Snowpark. Taught by highly trained snowboard instructors, you will effectively learn techniques on the board and new tricks.
The lessons begin for beginners with an introduction to basic snowboarding techniques, helping you become familiar with your equipment. This crucial foundation helps you gain balance and control, which is essential for safe and effective snowboarding. Throughout the session, you will practise your first turns on suitable slopes and learn to navigate the terrain with ease and confidence. These skills are important as they form the basis for more advanced techniques.
For those with more experience, the focus is on improving parallel riding, mastering steeper runs, and refining your technique. In small groups of 4 to 8 participants, divided by ability, you will receive personal attention and targeted coaching. The lessons take place on various slopes, including challenging areas and the Snowpark, which provide a dynamic environment to practise and enhance your skills. These small group sizes ensure you receive the necessary guidance to make rapid progress and enjoy your time on the slopes.
