What to Expect

These private skiing lessons are ideal for kids between 7 and 12 years seeking tailored instruction in the beautiful Oberwiesenthal ski area. Nestled in a picturesque setting, Oberwiesenthal boasts a range of slopes suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers. The resort offers a well-equipped children's ski area, which provides a safe and enjoyable environment for young learners. With the guidance of a highly trained private instructor, children receive individual attention, ensuring a personalised learning experience that caters to their specific needs and abilities.

For beginners, the lesson begins in the children's ski area, where the young skiers are introduced to foundational techniques in a fun and engaging manner. Here, they learn essential skills such as balancing on skis and making basic turns, which are crucial for building confidence and control. For those who are new to skiing, this part of the lesson is a gentle introduction, designed to make them feel comfortable and excited about skiing.

Children who have mastered the basics will ski on easy slopes to test and refine their newly acquired skills. For more experienced young skiers, the instructor may challenge them with more demanding slopes to further enhance their technique. Throughout the session, playful, child-friendly learning methods are employed to ensure that fun remains a priority, encouraging a love for skiing and continuous improvement.

Meeting Time

We meet at the "Starthaus" directly at the main ski slope just below the ice skating rink, 15 minutes before the start of the lesson. If you booked with ski rental, please pick up your equipment at the rental shop an hour before the start of the lesson.

Lunch Care

The lunch break takes place between 12:00 and 13:30. The children can be picked up at the meeting point at the "Starthaus" and brought back there after the break.

Equipment Rental

If you need rental equipment, please add it to your shopping cart during the checkout process when booking.

The equipment you booked can be conveniently collected at the ski rental shop. We recommend that you pick up your equipment at our rental shop from 4 p.m. on the day before.

Ski Pass

First-timers do not need a ski pass for the first day of the lessons. The instructor will advise you when to buy the ski pass.

Advanced skiers need a ski pass for the lessons. You can buy your ski pass online or at the lift station before the first lesson.
