What to Expect

These private snowboarding lessons for children from 7 years and adults are perfect for beginners and experienced snowboarders looking to improve their technique. In the beautiful ski resort of Oberwiesenthal, you will find an array of ideal slopes for both beginners and advanced snowboarders. The lessons are conducted on the wonderfully maintained slopes of the resort, providing you with a rich learning experience. You will have the opportunity to explore the gentle beginner slopes to build your confidence and move on to more challenging runs as your skills improve.

Through the individual support of a dedicated private instructor, your progress in handling the snowboard will be swift and noticeable. Depending on your age and level of experience, the well-trained instructor will tailor an individual training program to suit your needs. Beginners will learn the basics of snowboarding, including how to balance and make their first turns, while more advanced snowboarders will focus on parallel snowboarding techniques and mastering steeper slopes. Each skill taught is essential for ensuring you become more confident and have more fun on the board.

Meeting Time

We meet at the "Starthaus" directly at the main ski slope just below the ice skating rink, 15 minutes before the start of the lesson. If you booked with ski rental, please pick up your equipment at the rental shop an hour before the start of the lesson.

Equipment Rental

If you need rental equipment, please add it to your shopping cart during the checkout process when booking.

The equipment you booked can be conveniently collected at the ski rental shop. We recommend that you pick up your equipment at our rental shop from 4 p.m. on the day before.

Ski Pass

First-timers do not need a ski pass for the first day of the lessons. The instructor will advise you when to buy the ski pass.

Advanced snowboarders need a ski pass for the lessons. You can buy your ski pass online or at the lift station before the first lesson.

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure you have a snowboard, snowboard boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson
