What to Expect

Our private ski lessons in Roccaraso are designed for teens and adults aged 14 and up, offering a supportive environment where skiers can progress at their own pace. Suitable for all levels, from first-time skiers to more experienced riders, the lessons focus on improving skills, confidence, and enjoyment on the slopes. Whether it’s your first experience or a chance to refine your technique, each lesson promises a fun and memorable day in the snow.

Located in the heart of the Apennines, the Roccaraso ski area offers stunning scenery and excellent facilities. Gentle beginner slopes and varied terrain provide a safe and comfortable environment for learning, and each lesson starts with a brief introduction to the equipment so every skier feels ready and confident.

Throughout the lesson, professional instructors guide participants with structured exercises and progressive challenges. Beginners focus on balance, stopping, and basic turns, while more advanced skiers work on carving, parallel turns, and control. Lessons are held in small groups, ensuring personalized attention and a positive, motivating atmosphere where confidence and a love for skiing can grow.

Meeting Time

We meet at the Pizzalto gondola station, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

In order to not lose time at the beginning of your lesson, please buy your ski pass in advance.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 14 years

• Experience is not required

Bring Along

• Ski pass

• Warm outdoor clothing; layers are recommended

• Ski equipment and helmet

Good to Know

• Please make sure you have skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• The whole family can join the private lessons together, as long as everyone has a similar skill level

• The maximum group size is 5 participants per group
