What to Expect

These early bird private snowboarding lessons for children from 6 years old or adults are an efficient way to learn or significantly improve your snowboarding skills, way before all the crowds hit the slopes. With the peaceful morning atmosphere, you will enjoy the pristine, freshly groomed slopes of Zell am See. Your personal instructor will tailor the pace, content, and schedule entirely to your goals, whether you are a beginner, a returning snowboarder, or already advanced seeking to improve your skills.

Beginners will focus on mastering their first turns, while more advanced snowboarders will work on refining their technique. Each skill builds confidence and control, preparing you for the more challenging slopes. As the lesson progresses, the instructor will introduce you to steeper slopes and new terrains, helping you to gain more security and enjoy a smooth skiing experience. Tailored techniques and tips will be offered to meet your goals, ensuring that you leave the course with improved skills and greater confidence. Whether you aim to enjoy relaxed snowboarding or explore new challenges, this lesson provides a comprehensive and enjoyable experience.

Meeting Time

We meet at the information board at the mountain station of the Schmittenhöhebahn, 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Getting up to the top station can take some time, especially during high season, so please plan some time.

Ski Pass

All participants need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 6 years

• Experience is not required

• Warm outdoor clothing; layers are recommended

• Gloves

• Goggles

• Snowboard equipment and helmet

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure you have a snowboard, snowboard boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson
