You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.

You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.

Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.

Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.

Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.

The ski lessons are for children from the age of 4.

On the first day, the meeting point is at the Podo-Kinderland 15 minutes before the start of the lesson. A lift ticket is necessary to get to the meeting point.

All participants need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. Only children up to 6 years old do not need a ski pass.

The lessons will only take place with a minimum of 4 participants.

The focus is on having fun. The children learn to ski in a playful way with games and special exercises. At the end of the course, all participants receive a medal and a diploma.
