What to Expect

Help your child build confidence on the slopes with a private ski lesson in Laax, Flims & Falera for ages 5 to 15, featuring individual coaching tailored to their level and pace. Nestled in the Swiss Alps, this renowned resort offers a variety of safe and gentle slopes that are ideal for beginners, as well as more challenging runs for those ready to progress. The resort is well-equipped with modern ski lifts and facilities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable skiing experience for all families.

The lesson begins with a friendly introduction to skiing, where children learn about the importance of ski equipment and how to put it on correctly. As they get familiar with their boots and skis, the instructor will guide them through the basics of maintaining balance and executing their first turns. These foundational skills are crucial for building confidence and ensuring a safe and fun experience on the slopes. For those who have some experience, the focus will shift to refining parallel skiing techniques and tackling slightly steeper slopes, encouraging them to explore new challenges at their own pace.

Throughout the session, our dedicated instructors provide personalized coaching and adapt the lesson to suit each child's level and progress. The small group setting is perfect for siblings and friends, allowing children of mixed abilities to learn together, yet progress individually. With the undivided attention of an instructor, your child will enjoy a safe, fun, and stress-free experience that is tailored to your family's needs, making their time on the mountain both memorable and rewarding.

Meeting Time

We meet at one of our three meeting points: Flims Laax Falera ski resort, Laax ski resort, or the Flims cable car ticket office information point, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Pick-up

We offer a free pick-up service from your hotel or residence. Simply contact us after completing your booking to arrange a pick-up location and time

Ski Pass

Generally, every skier needs a ski pass. However, there may be exceptions depending on whether you need a ski pass from the beginning or not. Please contact your instructor for specific information regarding your lesson

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Ski equipment is not included in the price of the lesson

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• The whole family can join the private lessons together, regardless of skill level

• If you have a child under 5 who would like to participate, please contact us! We’d be happy to discuss your child’s needs with you before booking and create the perfect, personalized first experience on the slopes

• Please note that there is no fixed lunch break planned. If you choose to take a 1-hour lunch break during your lesson, it will be shortened by 1 hour
