You’re never too old to take up (or get back into) skiing! Whether you’re strapping on skis for the first time or want to improve your skills to feel more confident on the slopes, our adult ski lessons in Saint-Gervais are tailored to all levels and preferences. As private lessons can sometimes be daunting, group lessons are the ideal alternative for those who want to improve in a warm and motivating atmosphere. Under the watchful eye and expert guidance of our experienced instructors, you will make progress in no time at all.
Thanks to our different ability groups, you will easily find the right fit for you. Beginners will discover the basics and learn the correct posture for skiing without getting tired… and without getting injured. If you are already comfortable on the snow, this is the perfect time to brush up on your skills or hone your technique by learning more advanced skills that will open up new possibilities. No slope will be too challenging for you! So don’t hesitate any longer – take the plunge, and you will be amazed by your progress by the end of the week.
We meet in front of the ESF chalet at Le Bettex, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.
All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
The lessons are suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced skiers who want to refine their technique. You will be placed in a group that matches your ability.
These are group lessons, allowing you to learn and progress in a warm and motivating atmosphere with other skiers of a similar level.
Beginners will learn the basics of skiing and the correct posture. More experienced skiers will have the opportunity to brush up on their skills and learn more advanced techniques.
The meeting point is in front of the ESF chalet at Le Bettex. Please be there 10 minutes before the lesson starts.
