For maximum progress in the shortest possible time, our private ski lessons for kids in Saint-Gervais are the ideal choice. With a dedicated instructor, it is the best way to focus on the specific skills that need to be developed or perfected. Thanks to a programme tailored to the participants’ needs and ability levels, the instructor provides targeted advice and personalised support, leading to rapid and lasting results.
Whether it’s to learn the basics in complete safety, master new advanced techniques or simply regain confidence on skis after a long break, private lessons are suitable for every situation. They are particularly recommended if you are only staying at the resort for a short time or to help overcome a persistent hurdle, in order to rediscover the joy of skiing. In any case, your children can count on the expertise and kindness of our experienced instructors to help them achieve their goals.
We meet in front of the ESF chalet at Le Bettex, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.
All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.
Please be aware that you need a ski pass to take your kid to the meeting point.
The skipass is free for children under 5; it can be collected from the ski lift ticket office with proof of age.
Even if they are at a similar level, we do not recommend that adults and children (under 13 years old) take the same private lesson: learning methods and progress vary greatly depending on age.
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
