What to Expect

If your child is between 6 and 14 years old and wants to learn skiing or improve their technique, this half-day children's ski course for all levels in the beautiful Flachau area is ideal! Nestled in the breathtaking Alps, the Flachau ski resort is an attractive location with modern facilities. It features a special children's zone equipped with a magic carpet and various learning tools. Our friendly, experienced ski instructors use child-friendly techniques to ensure your child learns safely, with fun and motivation.

Our courses are an effective blend of play and learning. With a maximum of 12 children per group, each participant receives plenty of individual attention, ensuring safety and progress. The main goal is to open the world of skiing to your child. Through playful activities, your child will enjoy plenty of fun and learning while improving their technique. During technical exercises, we will visit Snake Valley, ski through forest trails, and make new friends. The highlight is the final race where every racer wins a certificate and a medal.

These half-day courses leave enough time to enjoy family time afterward without fatigue. Children are introduced to skiing with a focus on sport, fun, and action. This approach ensures that your child not only learns skiing techniques but also develops a love for the sport, making for an unforgettable experience in Flachau.

Meeting Time

On the first day of the course, we meet at our office at Starjet 1, 30 minutes before the course starts, where each participant must collect the course ticket of the ski school.

Ski Pass

First-timers do not need a ski pass for the first day of the lessons. The instructor will advise you when to buy the ski pass.

Advanced skiers need a ski pass for the lessons. You can buy your ski pass online or at the lift station before the first lesson.

Parents do not need a ski pass to take their kid to the meeting point.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please note that the course only takes place with a minimum of 4 participants

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• It is possible to switch between different skill levels during the course if a participant's abilities improve quickly

• The maximum group size is 12 participants per group

• Group lessons are divided by age and ability, which will be determined verbally or by an on-snow assessment (skiing/riding a short distance). If the ability allows, your children are welcome to join the same group.

• Children participating in the half-day course must be picked up at the instructor's meeting point. During peak times, children may need to be picked up at the meeting point (which may be located on the mountain) at 11:30 am or 12:30 pm.

• All lessons are available in German, English and Dutch. Upon request, more languages are available.
