What to Expect

These full-day kids ski lessons for all levels in the beautiful Flachau region are ideal for children aged 6 to 14 who want to learn to ski or improve their technique. Nestled in the breathtaking Austrian Alps, the Flachau ski resort offers a perfect setting for young skiers. Our friendly and experienced ski instructors use age-appropriate techniques to ensure that your child learns safely, with fun and motivation. The courses are a blend of play and learning, with a maximum of 12 children per group, ensuring each participant receives plenty of individual attention to guarantee safety and progress.

The journey into skiing begins with basic skills on the magic carpet and ski carousel, where your child will become familiar with their equipment and learn their first turns. These exercises are crucial for building confidence and understanding the fundamentals of skiing. As the day unfolds, we will explore the Snake Valley and glide through the forest paths, enhancing balance and coordination. These activities not only improve skiing techniques but also make the learning process enjoyable and engaging.

The highlight of the day is the final race, where each young skier earns a certificate and medal, celebrating their accomplishments. Full-day courses are more efficient, allowing children to dedicate more time to learning and significantly improve their skills in just a few days. The primary focus is to introduce children to skiing and help them become confident, safe skiers while making new friends and having fun.

Meeting Time

On the first day of the course, we meet at our office at Starjet 1, 30 minutes before the course starts, where each participant must collect the course ticket of the ski school.

Lunch Care

Your children can be looked after by the instructors during the lunch break (meals and lunch care included). You can book this service directly on-site for €18 per child per day.

Ski Pass

First-timers do not need a ski pass for the first day of the lessons. The instructor will advise you when to buy the ski pass.

Advanced skiers need a ski pass for the lessons. You can buy your ski pass online or at the lift station before the first lesson.

Parents do not need a ski pass to take their kid to the meeting point.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please note that the course only takes place with a minimum of 4 participants

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• It is possible to switch between different skill levels during the course if a participant's abilities improve quickly

• The maximum group size is 12 participants per group

• Group lessons are divided by age and ability, which will be determined verbally or by an on-snow assessment (skiing/riding a short distance). If the ability allows, your children are welcome to join the same group.

• All lessons are available in German, English and Dutch. Upon request, more languages are available.
